Meet Dr. Kavita Shah

Dr. Kavita Shah earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York City. She went on to complete a General Practice Residency at NYU Langone in Brooklyn, where she trained in a fast-paced, high-acuity Level 1 trauma center. During her undergraduate years, Dr. Shah was honored with the “29 Who Shine” award from the Massachusetts Board of Education, recognizing her academic excellence and leadership potential.

Dr. Shah has worked in private practice since completing her residency and enjoys both the artistic and relational aspects of dentistry. She has a special interest in aesthetic restorative care and pediatric oral health education. Known for her calm, empathetic approach, she strives to make every visit as comfortable and positive as possible, especially for those who may be anxious about dental care.

A member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, Dr. Shah also has a heart for community outreach. While living in New York, she regularly volunteered in local schools to provide oral health education to children in underserved communities.

Dr. Shah was raised in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, and now lives in Westford. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, exploring new coffee shops, and cheering on the Celtics. A lifelong vegetarian, she’s also an avid basketball fan and loves spending time with her two older brothers—one of whom is also a dentist.
